The blend is airy white peat moss with graded tree bark. The bark isn't filler — it has a natural antiseptic action in the root zone and does the aeration job perlite does in ordinary mixes, promoting exceptional root development and noticeably thicker stems. The medium is pH-adjusted with a lime charge sized to hold stable for an entire growing cycle, and it carries trace elements and chelates that protect plants through growth.

Professional Plus vs Terra Professional — which one is this?

Canna makes two main Terra mixes and the names cause endless confusion, so here's the actual difference. Terra Professional (the standard mix) is nitrogen-rich and blends upgraded black peat, granulated peat moss and perlite. Terra Professional Plus — this product — is the premium tier: the purest raw materials Canna uses, built on top-quality white peat with antiseptic tree bark taking the place of perlite. If you're choosing between them for an indoor grow, Plus is the one Canna positions for the biggest harvests, and it's the variant we stock.

How to use it

• Loosen the mix well and fill your pots, compressing the medium slightly.
• Water until a little begins to drain through, then place your plant.
• For larger plants use 5 litre pots or bigger — the larger the pot, the more stable the root environment. A thin layer of clay pebbles in the base helps air and drainage.
• Under normal conditions adult plants transpire 4–6 litres of moisture per m² per day — adjust watering to pot size, conditions and growth stage.
• The starter charge covers initial feeding — introduce Terra Vega as growth gets underway, then switch to Terra Flores when flowers begin to develop.
